Dunbar Wins at Koasati Pines
deBerardinis Claims Junior Boys Title 

     The Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour traveled to the Koasati Pines Golf Club in Kinder, LA this weekend, February 12th-13th, for the Koasati Pines Junior Classic. On Saturday weather conditions were excellent and so were the scores.  Daniel Deloach of Boyce, LA led the Overall Boys with an impressive even-par round of 72 and only a stroke better than Jordan Cole of Gibsland, LA. On Sunday, Dillon Dunbar, who started the day 4 strokes behind Deloach, would prove to be the class of the field. Dunbar birdied holes 2,4,7, and 11 to shoot a solid round of 73. Dunbar went on to win the Koasati Pines Junior Classic with a two day total of 149 (76-73) giving him a one stroke victory over  Chuck Spears (74-76, 150) of Pineville, LA; and Jordan Cole (73-77, 150) of Gibsland, LA. Rounding out the rest of the top five were Hayden Bigby (76-75, 151) of Bossier City, LA; and Daniel Deloach (72-79, 151) of Boyce, LA.  Arrowhead would also like to congratulate Sam deBerardinis for claiming the Junior Boys Title.  Arrowhead would like to thank the wonderful staff at Koasati Pines for making this weekend such a wonderful experience.
