The Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour traveled to the Indian Bayou Golf Club in Destin, FL for a weekend filled with tons of golf action. Cooler weather conditions and constant wind made for some interesting rounds of golf as Adam Galliano of Baton Rouge, LA would shoot a two day of 149 to capture the Kelly Love Showcase Classic November 6th-7th. Jason Rodgers of Destin, FL would claim the Junior Boys Title by shooting 78 on Saturday and 72 on Sunday. Hannah Schorr of Broussard, LA shot a girls tournament low 74 on Sunday to secure the Overall Girls title and Madison Pacheco of Gulf Breeze, Fl would shoot a two day total of 164 to capture the Junior Girls Title. With a strong field, the older boys of the Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour took to the course with some of the coolest temperatures we have seen all year. Adam Galliano of Baton Rouge, LA set the pace early by having birdied holes 2,4,8,and 12 for an opening day 74 a mere three strokes over his nearest competitor Ross Mathews of Markle, IN. Galliano continued to play consistent golf throughout Sunday as he would go on to shoot a 75 giving him a two day total of 149(74-75). Galliano finished the tournament six strokes over Justin McElderry of Pelham, AL who shoot a two day total of 155 (79-76). Rounding out the rest of the top five were Ross Mathews of Markle, In (159,77-82); Ryan Desormeaux of Broussard, LA (163, 79-84); and Corey Andre of Destin, Fl (166, 84-82).

Jason Rodgers of Destin, Fl made played on the Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour for the first time this season and man did he make a good first impression. Rodgers concluded Saturday’s action in third place two strokes back of Payton Massey of Lucedale, MS and only one stroke back of Parker Remig of Gulf Breeze, Fl. Rodgers turned the tempo up on Sunday as he shot an tournament low even par 72 to complete an amazing comeback and finish four strokes over Massey. Rodgers finished the tournament with a two day total of 150(78-72). Rounding out the rest of the top five were Payton Massey of Lucedale, MS (154, 76-78); Parker Remig of Gulf Breeze, Fl (155, 77-78); Matthew Jakuback of Baton Rouge, LA(171, 87-84); and Zachary Harris of New Orleans, LA (173, 84-89)

Hannah Schorr captured another Overall Girls Title this weekend at the Indian Bayou Golf Club in Destin, FL. When Saturday’s action concluded Summer Struzinski of Ft. Walton Beach, FL was the early leader with an opening round 80 two strokes over Rebekah Pruett of Niceville, FL and Hannah Schorr. Schorr would come out swinging on Sunday and birdied holes 5, 17, and 18 in route to a girls tournament low of 74. Schorr finished the tournamentwith a two day total of 156 three strokes over Struzinski. Rounding out rest of the top five were Rebekah Pruett of Niceville, Fl (161, 82-79); Pair Noibanchong of Mandeville, LA (163, 84-79); and Jara Templet of Baton Rouge, LA (169, 86-83). Arrowhead would also like to congratulate Madison Pacheco who shot a two day total 164(85-79) in rouge to the Junior Girls Division Title.
