Chuck Spears
The Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour traveled to the Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club
in Broussard, LA this week, June 22nd-23rd, for the Fathers Day Extravaganza at Le Triomphe.
On Wednesday weather conditions were to severe to play so the 36 hole tournament had
to cut down to an 18 hole tournament. Chuck Spears of Pineville, LA led the Overall Boys
with an impressive five below par round of 67, five strokes better than Ryan Desormeaux
of Broussard, La; Dillon Dunbar of Marksville, LA; and David Field of St. Francisville, LA.
To determine the second position Desormeaux, Dunbar, and Field had to go into a single hole
playoff. At the conclusion of the playoff Field would claim the second position with
Desormeaux finishing third and Dunbar coming in fourth. Rounding out the rest of the top five was
Josh Fullilove of Larose, LA (74) and Skye Mejia of Lafayette (74). Arrowhead would like to
thank the wonderful staff at Le Triomphe for making this week such a wonderful experience.
