Tomba Wins at Lakewood Barbaree Claims Junior Boys Title Harris Claims Overall Girls Title
Tomba Wins Lakewood Junior Classic

With a strong field of 32 young men, the Arrowhead Junior Golf Overall Boys Division took to the course with a weekend filled with excitement. Daniel Tomba of Abita Springs, LA claimed the Overall Boys Title this past weekend September 10th-11th. On Saturday, lead all boys into the clubhouse with a two-under par round of 70. On Sunday, Tomba would go on a tear and yet again shoot a 70 (70-70, 140) consistent enough to claim the title five strokes over Grant Welch (74-71, 145) of Baton Rouge, LA. Rounding out the rest of the top five were Peter Mata (77-72, 149) of Baton Rouge, LA; Jake Pritchard (74-76, 150) of Angie, LA; and Conner Cavin (76-74, 150) of Baton Rouge, LA. Arrowhead would also like to thank everyone from Oklahoma who made the 11 hour drive to play with us this weekend and also thank the wonderful staff at Lakewood Golf Club.

Barbaree Claims Another Junior Boys Title

Phillip Barbaree of Shreveport, LA claimed the Junior Division this past weekend with a solid twoday total of 133. On Saturday Barbaree blistered the course with an incredible round of 6 under par 66. On Saturday, Barbaree birdied holes 1,3,7,8,11,13,and 14. Barbaree lead the Junior Boys Division after the round concluded on Saturday by 6 strokes over Jacob Bergeron of Slidell, LA. Sunday was no different as Barbaree again dominated by shooting a 5 under par round of 67. Barbaree ended the event with a victory of 14 strokes. Rounding out the rest of the top five were Price Butcher (76-76, 152) of New Orleans, LA; Michael Sotile (75-78, 153) of Baton Rouge, LA; and Stephen Wall (77-77, 154) of Madisonville, LA.

Harris Claims Overall Girls Title
 Angelica Harris
Angelica Harris of New Orleans, LA won the Overall Girls Title at the Lakewood Country Club this weekend September 10th-11th. Harris played strong on Saturday by shooting an opening round of 80 and never looked back. Going into the round of Sunday, Harris had a two stroke lead over Taylor Kennedy of Baton Rouge, LA. Harris would separate herself from the rest of the field on Saturday by keep herself together when the temperatures were tough. Harris shot a 80 on Sunday giving her a victory of seven strokes over Kennedy. Rounding out the rest of the top five were Delaney Daniel of Stonewall, OK and Karrington Knight of New Orleans, LA.
