Bergeron Claims Junior Boys Title
Harris Claims Overall Girls Title
Hayes Weathersby captured the Oaks at Sherwood Junior Classic May 21st-22nd with a
two day total of 156 this past weekend at the Oaks at Sherwood in Baton Rouge, LA.
Jacob Bergeron played well as he captured the Junior Boys Title by shooting a tournament
low of 75 on Saturday. Angelica Harris of New Orleans, LA won the Overall Girls Title
ith a two day total of 166. Weather conditions were just about perfect this weekend with
the exception of temperatures reaching the low 90s. The golfers were able to survive the
heat and keep playing. Arrowhead would like to thank the great staff at the Oaks at
Sherwood for making our trip to their golf course very accommodating.

Ross Wins Quail Hollow Junior Classic
Hayes Weathersby of Poplarville, MS used a strong Sunday score of 76 to clinch the Oaks
at Sherwood Junior Classic. Weathersby birdied hole 14 on Saturday and ended the day
Saturday with a single stroke lead over Ted Lieux of Baton Rouge, LA; William Meyers
of Baton Rouge, LA; and Austin Schillaci of Harahan, LA. Even with a lot of golfers putting
pressure on him, Weathersby was able to hold steady and keep his lead intact. Weathersby
shot a 76 on Sunday giving him a two day total of 156 (80-76) and the victory three strokes
over Chad Arseneault of Baton Rouge, LA who had a two day total of 159 (83-76). Rounding
out the rest of the top five were Ted Lieux (159, 81-78) of Baton Rouge, LA; Evan Morse
(159, 82-77) of Denham Springs, LA; and William Meyers (161, 81-80) of Baton Rouge, LA.
Bergeron Stays Focused

Jacob Bergeron
Jacob Bergeron of Slidell, LA won the Junior Boys Title this past weekend by shooting a
two day tournament low of 151 this past weekend at the Oaks at Sherwood. Bergeron
birdied holes 1,14,and 15 on Saturday to put him in a tie for the lead with Garett James
of Lumberton, TX. Bergeron came out on Sunday and maintained his consistent play by
shooting a 76. Bergeron ended the tournament three strokes over Johnny Maxwell of
Ruston, LA. Rounding out the rest of the top five were Malachi Freeman (155, 78-77) of
Summit; Michael Sotile (156, 80-76) of Baton Rouge, LA; and Mark Bienvenu (158, 81-77)
of Baton Rouge, LA.

Angelica Harris of New Orleans, LA claimed the Overall Girls Title this past weekend
at the Oaks at Sherwood in Baton Rouge, LA with a two day total of 166. Parker was
the leader once competition concluded on Saturday afternoon (82) by nine strokes over
Taylor Thompson (91) of Baton Rouge, LA. Harris would hold strong by shooting a 84
on Sunday to give her a two day total of 166 (82-84) and the Girls Overall Title by
fourteen strokes over Haley Harrington (93-87, 180) of St. Francisville, LA. Rounding
out the rest of the top five were Taylor Thompson of Baton Rouge, LA; Sydney Cavin
of Baton Rouge, LA; and Taylor Kennedy of Baton Rouge, LA.
