Barnes & Kippers and McCormick & Ross Lead Points Races

AJGT competitors continue to add to their Age Division Points Totals with Top Ten finishes and through participation points in 2009-'10.  For for the first time this year, players receive 400 points for successfully completing any AJGT event, adding to the ability of players to add to their points totals even when they don't finish in the Top Ten in their Age Division.  Players who finish first, second and third in their respective Age Division Points Races receive beautiful crystal glass Points Cups at the AJGT Championship Banquet on July 31st, 2010 during the Arrowhead Coca-Cola Stroke Play Championship.

Garrett Barnes (6600) of Biloxi, Mississippi moved into first place in the Boys 15-18 Year-Old Points Race with a tie for sixth place at the AJGT Tchefuncta Junior Classic.  Jordan Cole (6000) of Gibsland, LA and Johndavid Nickel (4900) of Crowley, LA are second and third, respectively.

Mobile's Daniel McCormick (6100) assumed first place in the Boys 12-14 Year-Old Points Race with a second place finish at Tchefuncta.  Brennan LeBlanc (5700) of Baton Rouge, LA and Tuscaloosa's Tyler Hitchner (4400) are second and third.

Allison Kippers (8200) of Zachary, LA captured the Girls Overall Championship at Regatta Bay and moved into first place in the Girls 15-18 Points Standings.  Ali Lucas (7000) of Crowley, LA is second.  Emily Blount (4800) finished sixth at Regatta and maintains her third place Points Ranking. 

Emily Ross (5700) of Diamondhead, MS captured the Girls Overall Championship at Tchefuncta and took over first place in the Girls 12-14 Points Race.  Pensacola's Madison Pacheco (4800) is currently in second after her sudden death playoff win at Regatta Bay.  Lana Hodge (4600) of Monroe, LA is only 200 points back in third.
